About The Role

We have an exciting new role for an Onsite Navigation Executive who will be responsible for enhancing customer experience across all websites; helping customers find the products they are looking for, as well as increasing interaction, conversion and customer lifetime value. The main responsibilities of the role include monitoring trends, identifying opportunities and making changes to optimise relevance of products shown to increase conversion, working closely with the Trading team and eCommerce team to do so.

 
Principal Accountabilities:
 
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on the customer journey - with focus on on-site search, top navigation, product recommendations and customer entry point, giving visibility of customer landing pages for different categories and brands
  • Working closely with the wider trading team to share insights on on-site navigation to understand UK and International trends, suggesting changes where appropriate
  • Ownership of the top navigation across all markets, ensuring all categories and brands are seasonally relevant, monitoring levels of stock and briefing changes as and when required
  • Develop a trading message plan for on-site navigation, using own analysis whilst closely following the wider business trading plan
  • Monitor and report on on-site searches and failed searches across all channels. Making changes to visible search terms when appropriate, whilst working closely with the Web Merchandising team to ensure customers are shown the most relevant products early in the search journey
  • Key relationship with the Ecommerce team, ensuring UI/UX on the website enhances the customer journey and that on-site search is optimised
  • Supporting the Content team with ad hoc tasks, such as the creation of SEO friendly URLs
  • Being a key stakeholder between the Merchandising team and Content team - planning in URL changes when required
  • Working closely with the Content Executive to ensure top navigation links have relevant on-page copy, as well as ensuring on-site navigation content adheres to brand guidelines and consistency 
  • Carry out regular competitor analysis and develop understanding of industry standards, sharing insights that may work for our customer journey with the wider team 
  • Continually improve processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Hours of work:

General office hours are 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday although this role can be flexible around core working hours.

About You

 

Essential 

  • High level of attention to detail, a proactive, organised approach with the ability to multitask
  • Proven experience in an eCommerce role with good knowledge of onsite navigation and/or UI/UX
  • Good analytical knowledge, including use of google sheets/excel
  • Proactive, resilient and able to work using own initiative
  • Interest in fashion and/or sports and knowledge of household brands
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable

  • Commercial awareness in an online retail environment
  • Experience of working within a sports or fashion based environment.
