About The Role

As Senior CRM Executive, you will work with a team of CRM Executives and oversee the creation, delivery and analysis of daily marketing communications in the UK and International markets. The role will focus heavily around the segmentation, targeting and personalisation of customer communications, working closely with our Email Marketing Manager and Senior Customer Segmentation Executive to identify ways of optimising existing customer journeys and implementing new ones to improve customer lifetime value and improve customer retention.  

 

This role would suit a CRM Executive or Marketing/Digital Executive with Email Marketing experience looking for their next challenge, wanting to gain experience in a forward thinking, fast-paced, global online retailer. 

 Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Overseeing and supporting the development of engaging, impactful and personalised email campaigns that drive retention and loyalty to meet team KPIs across all 7 markets we send communications to
  • Understanding the businesses segmentation strategy and work with the Email Marketing Manager to execute and optimise new and existing multi-channel customer journeys / multi-channel programmes within our ESP / CDXP
  • Overseeing the daily execution of our communications plan with the support of our CRM Executives, which includes email and web push campaign building, creative sign off, proofing and commissioning (sending) 
  • Supporting and guidance to a team of 4 CRM Executives and providing the relevant sign off of work where relevant (ie, segmentations, subject lines & pre-headers, email creative etc) on a day to day basis
  • Reporting and analysis of channel performance using our various analytics tools & feeding back results, insights and potential optimisation opportunities to the Email Marketing Manager and Head of CRM
  • Project lead for all team testing across both Automation and BAU emails, managing a busy testing calendar and ensuring the testing process is followed and executed in a way to ensure clear, reportable results are achieved
  • Supporting the Email Marketing Manager with the creation of the campaign calendar for all markets, utilising insight gained from previous campaign performance across to ensure the right communications are being used for the right audiences to gain the best results
  • Being the first point of contact for all day to day email communication questions and queries.
 

Hours of work:

General office hours are 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday although, flexitime options and hybrid remote working days are available. 

About You

  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Previous experience in email marketing essential
  • Previous experience reporting and analysis of marketing channel performance 
  • Highly organised with good project management skills - must have the ability to manage and deliver several projects at the same time, sometimes with a short turn-around time 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent grammatical skills
  • The ability to work under pressure, driven by hitting targets and responsive to real-time results
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence when dealing with internal and external colleagues
  • Previous line management experience is desirable, but not essential.
