About The Role

We’re looking for a Digital Design Team Planner based at our head office in Leominster, Herefordshire. The role will be responsible for project, resource and stakeholder management for the brand, design, artwork & animation teams. Working closely with the trading, CRM, social, studio and brand teams to plan short, mid and long term projects,  ensuring resources are prioritised to business priorities and plans. 

This role will ensure the digital design, artwork & animation teams are briefed with the right information at the right time to ensure quality work is delivered on time for the business.

Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include: 

  • Running small to large scale design and brand projects, using a high degree of project management 
  • Creating & managing a resource plan for digital design, artwork and animation teams on a quarterly, monthly & weekly basis 
  • Aligning resource with business needs and priorities, flagging capacity constraints and capacity opportunities with Head of Brand 
  • Managing the design briefing process (inc, but not limited to themed briefs) and responsible for improving processes with future business needs 
  • Managing timelines and deadlines for briefs, responses to briefs, feedback and delivery of work with all stakeholders 
  • Monitoring input and output from the team - ensure briefs have the adequate information and ensure output delivers on briefs before going back to requestors and brand teams for approval 
  • Creating and implementing design team principles i.e. 2 rounds of feedback, deadlines for briefs, deadlines for response to briefs and deadlines for feedback and final sign off to ensure ways of working is efficient
  • Responsible for communication & meetings between the design teams and the rest of business to ensure everyone is clear on design plans 
  • Working with the design, artwork & animation leads to develop the digital design team and ensure all team members have the relevant skills to execute all digital design tasks, as well as a complete awareness and understanding of the brand guidelines and brand partners creative direction.

Hours of work:

General office hours Monday to Friday, hybrid working will be available, working 3 days remotely and 2 days per week at head office in Leominster, Herefordshire. 

About You

To be considered you will need:

  • Substantial experience managing small to large scale projects 
  • Experience of managing briefs, response to briefs and delivery of briefs 
  • Ability to build and manage resource plans across a large team 
  • Ability to communicate at a very high level with multiple stakeholders to align resource to business needs 
  • Ability to manage processes and experience of delivering results through process improvement, capability to improve processes and create efficient ways of working
  • High degree of commercial awareness (performance evaluation, efficient ways of working)
  • Assertive, confident and able to challenge established ways of working
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasion and time management skills
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Ideally will have some experience applying these skills in a creative/ design/ brand environment, but if not an  interest and understanding of design & brand.
