About The Role

We have a great opportunity for a Content Executive to join our fast-paced and dynamic Marketing team. The role will be responsible for writing and quality-checking engaging, consumer-focused on-site content. Reporting to the Content Manager, the Content Executive will ensure on-site content is suitable for SEO and that it is specific to each International market. 

The role will also help to develop and execute the content strategy, in order to improve UX and SEO across all markets. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Writing clear, engaging content for pages across the site that demonstrates great brand and fashion knowledge, whilst delivering the MandM Direct tone of voice in a consistent manner
  • Responsibility for testing, proofing, and signing off on-site content for the UK and International sites, ensuring it has all been quality checked and internal linking is appropriate and correct
  • Working closely with the wider eCommerce team and IT department when signing off on-site content
  • Overseeing and carrying out the day-to-day processes of requesting translations for on-site content for our International markets
  • Key responsibility for creating and maintaining a log of all content changes that go on-site, as well as documenting processes for each change, to ensure all changes are implemented in an efficient way
  • Being a key stakeholder between the Contact Centre and Content team, ensuring service content is up to date and making the Content Centre aware of other changes on-site that may affect the customer journey with FAQs
  • Providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on SEO performance, with a focus on keyword analysis - monitoring trends in keyword searches and highlighting concern areas or opportunities for all markets to the wider Trading team
  • Working closely with the SEO Executive to understand technical SEO changes and/or updates relating to organic search, ensuring on-site content includes appropriate keywords to improve rankings and visibility
  • Supporting the Content & Navigation Executive by ensuring top navigation links have updated header content, as well as suggesting changes to the navigation based on organic searches
  • Working closely with the wider eCommerce team to share exciting and innovative ideas for testing different elements on the website
  • Supporting the Social Media team with their blog strategy, through quality checking content, providing SEO insights and keywords, and writing blog copy when required
  • Supporting the Content team with ad hoc tasks, such as the creation of SEO friendly URLs
  • Working closely with the Content team and SEO Consultant to develop the SEO strategy with a focus on optimising content, technical improvements and ideas sharing
  • Continually improving processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Hours of work:

General office hours Monday to Friday, hybrid working will be available, working 3 days remotely and 2 days per week at head office in Leominster, Herefordshire. 

About You

Skills and Knowledge Required:


  • To be highly organised. Due to the fast-paced nature, ad hoc tasks may be required with short notice, and managing these efficiently is key
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent grammatical skills
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as being a team player
  • A basic understanding of SEO
  • An interest in fashion and/or sports.   


  • Proven experience with blog and/or content writing
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or other reporting tools
  • Experience of working with a sports or fashion-based environment.
