About The Role

We have a new opportunity for a permanent Developer to join our expanding team. The main responsibilities for the role will be to develop our website, applications and supporting services ensuring a consistently high level of quality. You’ll be working within a scrum team developing new code and maintaining existing code ensuring that standards and principles are followed. 


You will be involved in the technical design of solutions and will pair program where appropriate in order to improve your capability whilst also working alongside BA's, Technical Leads, Developers and QA Analysts to create and review stories and features.

About You

To be considered you will need: 

  • An intermediate understanding of the agile ceremonies
  • Commercial experience in the full SDLC developing web based solutions (Inc. applications and supporting services)
  • Experience in asynchronous processing, multi-threaded execution and scaling software
  • Experience using TDD and BDD and developing with up to 100% unit test coverage
  • An awareness of schemas for relational database or object stores and understands when to use each
  • Experience with mocked or stubbed services
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Confident and works well as a team member
  • Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Good knowledge of automation and the CI/CD process and considers operational requirements when developing solutions
  • Knowledge of encryption within .NET and understands when and why we use it
  • The ability to develop using most of the following technologies:
  • CSS, HTML and JavaScript to create and maintain a website
  • C# with MVC5, ASP.Net, Windows Applications or Windows Services
  • C# with Entity Framework, LINQ, MSMQ and integration with Stored Procedures
  • C# to create professional API's (WebAPI) following API standards
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • NoSQL Database like MongoDB, Googles Datastore, Redis and Spanner


Ideal candidates would demonstrate an interest and curiosity in new technologies, methodologies, best practices, self-development, and open-mindedness and would be self-motivated showing a personal responsibility for tasks and like working on a variety of projects.
