The Role Scope
You be responsible for the effective management of a shift in our outbound warehouse with duties including but not limited to:
✨ Running daily team meetings and conducting regular 1 to 1 meetings with Supervisors
✨ Working with agency partners to flex labour requirements to meet demand
✨ Dealing with any staffing issues across the shift
✨ Evaluating operatives to enhance their KPI performance, development and work productivity
✨ Addressing performance issues and making recommendations
✨ Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are clear, monitored and strictly followed
✨To monitor and ensure that all relevant shift target KPIs are achieved through effective management and labour resources
✨To develop a multi-skilled team of colleagues and support a succession plan through training, coaching, delegation and feedback
✨To maintain the auditability and traceability of M&M product movements
✨Support the ‘Continuous Improvement’ culture on site by seeking improvements within the operation to maximise efficiencies and drive an increase in productivity
✨To ensure the efficient and effective achievement of all operational targets and key performance indicators
✨Communication with carriers to ensure service and assets align with customer promise
