The Role Scope
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will work within a multi-disciplined Production Support Team, primarily responsible for the support, maintenance and development of internal and external infrastructure, in line with our technology roadmap. You will work with the latest infrastructure technologies both on premise and within the cloud. As new technologies are considered, you would assess their suitability for our business needs.

Working to a high standard following company procedures with all work being fully documented.

Actively participating and contributing in Infrastructure Team meetings.

Ensure all changes follow the change control process

Share and promote knowledge, skills and best working practices within the team

Taking ownership and responsibility for diagnosing, solving and managing complex issues.

Maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting the server and core infrastructure.

Actively operating either as part of a group or on your own with new installations and large projects.

Collaborating with the IT Operations Team and the Head of IT Operations to define principles, standards, processes and working practices.

Creating and ensuring that principles, standards and processes are adhered to.

Ensuring all solutions can be supported, are minimal, documented and are within the scope of IT Infrastructure Architecture.
