The Role Scope

To spearhead the development and optimisation of our new multi-language and multi-currency e-commerce website, ensuring a localised and personalised customer experience. You will be instrumental in translating business requirements into effective, market-specific websites and advanced product features.

✨Role key responsibilities:

● Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Be the CEO of the website product.

  • Work with the Digital Product Manager to define the website's product vision and roadmap.

  • Run regular requirement-gathering exercises to ensure the website roadmap responds to business requirements and strategy.

  • Work with internal and external IT teams to define the requirements and manage the scope of the web development project.

  • Define and report on the business case delivered by new sites and features to prioritise projects.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the pricing and competitor offering in all trading markets, and understand the impact of different technologies.

● Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Inspire a team of UX/UI designers, developers, and QA testers to ensure a cohesive website experience.

● Backlog Management:

  • Develop and maintain a prioritised product backlog for the website, aligning with business objectives.

  • Run and report on sprint activities, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

● Stakeholder Communication:

  • Provide business updates on product development.

✨Skill / Competency

Essential

● Ability to collaborate with the business stakeholders to define a website product vision and roadmap.
● Ability to translate cross-business needs into a roadmap and requirements.
● Ability to prioritise based on multiple inputs.
● Skill in developing and maintaining a prioritised product backlog.
● Ability to manage sprint planning, reviews, and retros.
● Strong stakeholder communication and management skills to communicate product updates.
● Using data-driven insights to inform product decisions.
● Working closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA testers.
● A high degree of commercial awareness.
● Ability to communicate well at all levels (both written and verbal).
● Proactive, resilient and able to work using own initiative.
● Naturally inquisitive.
● A proactive, organised approach with the ability to multitask.

Desirable

● Experience with e-commerce web or mobile applications.
● A strong understanding of UX/UI principles for mobile.
● Familiarity with the MandM's brand and customer base.
