The Role Scope
An exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a fast-paced finance team. As a member of the finance team, this role will support the Financial Controller with various tasks across the finance function including assisting with all financial reporting aspects along with a variety of other tasks.
✨Role key responsibilities

Support the Financial Controller in the year-end audit process other statutory obligations.

Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts under FRS101.

Lead the finance ESG function with the support of the Financial Controller ensuring the reporting of accurate and timely information.

Assist in providing information to external tax advisors to help them prepare the Corporation tax return.

Assist in the preparation and filing of UK and overseas VAT returns.

Support the Financial Controller in preparing the monthly Intrastat return.

Support in the month-end process which will include the posting of journals and the preparation of accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Assist in the preparation of the and Fixed Assets including depreciation calculations.

Ownership of certain balance sheet areas and will be responsible for postings and reconciliations in these areas.
