The Role Scope
The Buying Assistant will support the administrative requirements of the Buyers and Buying Department. Enabling the buyers and buying department to function efficiently.
✨Role Key Responsibilities

Competitor analysis and competitor shopping reports

Trend research

Supporting the administrative requirements of the buyers

Order management, including loading orders onto and maintaining the range plan, placing purchase orders, and confirming orders with brands and suppliers

Managing the critical path of the product from purchase to delivery and on sale to sell out

Monitoring and reviewing the accuracy of product online

Tracking, receiving, logging and maintaining the sample library

QC and sample fit sessions

Creating packs and trend boards

Preparing reports, updating spreadsheets and databases

Liaising with brands and suppliers daily

Being the first point of contact for the warehouse

Building and maintaining strong relationships with brands

Assisting other departments with product and brand related enquiries

Working with other departments to ensure the brands and products are presented in the best way (photography, marketing)

Managing the SKU exception process
